  1. Roland was bang on the money... got it all sorted and tuned after giving me a massive headache yesterday, thanks heaps for the help guys really appreciate it. Here's a vid of the dyno run and the silicone pipe sucking in https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Wj6Q78tOmPC6wkv2doR6BPo-N6xzD4ul?usp=sharing
  2. Thanks for the swift response guys! Roland - I reckon you may be onto something here. The intake that we have setup at the moment is only something temporary - the car is booked in early next month to have the entire system done properly. I'm home now, but I will check this out first thing in the morning. I'm suspicious of the hose going between the turbo and air box, I'm thinking that may be our culprit. I've attached a photo so you can see what I mean. Darryl - So sorry, I should have made it clear that this is Nissan Patrol conversion. I would be really surprised if it was a wiring issue, because the only thing that has been altered since the car drove fine is the turbo and intake piping. Still, thank you for taking the time to respond so quickly!
  3. Hi there. We recently fitted a new turbo with an external gate. When we run it up on the dyno, we get to about 4500rpm and we get a massive power cut. Once the car is back at idle, it runs extremely rich for a while and then randomly seems to come good. We have everything in open loop and at the moment we are just relying on spring pressure in the waste gate. We're pretty sure it's something to do with boost control... We've logged all torque sources and can't work out what's causing the issue. We've got several fault codes, and spent a few hours trying to figure it out but we are a bit stuck. Oxygen sensor is also currently unplugged. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help. I've uploaded a datalog, the tune, and also a pic of all the fault codes. Cheers Sean 4.teclog load in.tec

  6. haha ive been pulling my hair out all night. ill give it a shot cheers bud
  7. just tried that one, didnt seem to like it at all, idled really high and missed, i moved my values up a couple of load cells but still no help heres my newest log with the values up to 30a/d counts. cheers heaps guys. 17-07-2020 02-58-57 PM Log.teclog
  8. just had a look and seems like its staying in cam_source 3. this log is me just touching the throttle and then letting off. the overlap seems to work correct when throttle is on sounds like it has a huge cam and rpm goes between 600-1000 just pretty slow compared to most of the vids on here. cheers mate 17-07-2020 11-38-00 AM Log.teclog load1 ghost cam.tec
  9. yeap both disable and enable are set to -1000. cheers mate. thats a log from last night, going to have another play later today 16-07-2020 04-57-52 PM Log.teclog
  10. Hi there. We've got a barra converted patrol, running fg turbo motor with the ZF. For some reason after copying over the parameter file, it works perfectly for about 15 seconds, changes spark source from base to idle and after that it seems to smooth itself out and stay on idle spark source. If we give the slightest throttle opening it works perfectly again, but the second you take your foot off the accelerator, the cams no longer overlap, and the idle smooths itself out again in a few seconds. If anyone has any idea that could help, it would be much appreciated. I can post a datalog if you would like, just let me know what pids you would like to see. Thank you!
