In theory manual mode is what we want but when on the burnout pad in say 4th gear and power starts to drop off as it gets some traction for instance , selecting 3rd manually the box won’t shift until rpm or wheel speed is low (as a safety I’m sure ) , we need it to shift as close to instant it’s selected as possible .

Gday , running a bf Fairmont ghia 3v with the zf6speed auto . Used for burnouts and wanting to make downshifts happen on command rather than waiting for wheel speed to drop off . Much like a manual shift controller on the btr trans . Any help much appreciated
