  1. @jakka351 car had an engine yes, checked wheel speed sensor and everything is in good shape. if you can find me on fb messanger Car shyne and we can com faster! I have teamviewer @FrogXA I haven't had the column out, this all started after the na+t conversion.
  2. @jakka351I originally changed the config to fg turbo, (not the as built data) That lit up the dash like a Xmas tree so I put it back to xr6. That being said I’m unsure what the car was in factory form as when I got it the car was gutted for the most part, it did have an xr6 cluster in it however so I assumed it was an xr6 but I also am aware that cluster changes are often made. today I replaced the clock spring as I keep getting steering wheel misalignment error but that did nothing unfortunately. I’ve also flashed the stock as built data from here saving my previous file and it was good for about 1km until I made a hard right turn at very low speed and the abs started kicking in. I’m now at a loss!
  3. Afternoon all, so I’ve recently converted my 2008 fg to na+t and zf6 and created a file using the stock na tune and merge function, while successful in doing so and safe enough to drive to the tuner not far away (afr wise) I have a dsc fault that pops up not long after driving, in one instance I’d just left the drive when it sounded like the abs kicked in for a second on the passenger front and disappeared then the dsc fault appeared. I tried to change the abs calibration with forscan which actually makes the dash light up like a Xmas tree so returned it to stock. I still have much to learn here so any info much appreciated. I have been through many posts on this subject but none helpful to me at least that I understand!
  4. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. Rolland, thanks. I’ve dabbled in the arts of reverse engineering so hopefully not too much effort but I’ll find out I guess.
  5. Hey, out of pure curiosity and the inclination to do odd things! It’s recently come to my attention that the fg clusters can be logo changed, I assume that pcmtec was not designed for such things but ask here in hope someone knows how to go about it? I’ve searched google for days with no leads. I know there’s a bloke in Melbourne that does it however I like to learn new skills and would prefer to take it on myself. Any help appreciated. Cheers
  6. I do have pcmtec yes. The return to stock is handy to know for the future but ended up finding my problem. Cheers.
  7. Thanks Bill I've ordered the OBDLink EX. hopefully I'll have some luck with that, As I know the car runs and drives with this pcm fingers crossed its purely a communication thing as flashing the strategy on the tear tag will end up making it over $500 pcm which would be cheaper to track another down than push on with this one!
  8. I assume its mk1. no touch screen? new to fg's. I've not flashed any strategy to it but will try that today. Had not thought of that! Have tactrix but also switchable elm327.
  9. Hey, Recently purchased an FG that was used as a donor car for a roo hit and was missing rad support, pcm, front seats, tail lights. So first things first I purchased was a pcm, same month and year however catch codes are different, so proceeded to pair the pcm but no good, forscan isn't fully reading the pcm and so there's no programmable functions available to pair, I then disabled pats to at the very least make the car movable and troubleshoot further later which also didn't work. After many hours of cursing I've discovered the ECC relay isn't switching, I can "jump" the relay and get the car to start however. It has also come to my attention that the fg pats disable is done differently on fg's and could be an issue however getting that information has me at a brick wall! any info on this would be greatly appreciated. As for forscan not fully reading is beyond my knowledge base and any info on this also greatly appreciated. Cheers
  10. Thanks Roland, that explains it. Been looking at this screen too long!
  11. Hey, So I'm pretty new to pcmtec and to be honest pcm editing and tuning but I'm managing to get my head around it for an old bloke! The issue I'm having is I'm wanting to import a ba turbo tune to my na file for turbo conversion (external boost control) however it seems every ba turbo pcm file I find is Black Oak and won't import to spanish oak. So my question is, are all turbo pcm files black oak? and if so does that mean i have to manually edit the na file? TIA
