  1. Anything with a 0-5v output will work. I'm not across the latest and greatest these days but I do know that anything using the 4.9 sensor should not need open air calibration so look for that.
  2. Unplug a the cable and restart the software. The cable can get confused if a lot of things are changed quickly at once. We have improved this and it will be in the next release. Does this happen often?
  3. Read the DTCs with Forscan and fix all of them. Being a conversion some may be normal. Next log your long term fuel trims, they should be within 5% if not the injectors have not been scaled correctly. This is critical for normal idle and low load. Next log spark source, torque source and throttle source during the limiter action. It will tell you exactly why it is occurring. Finally check mechanical issues like spark break down, valve springs, collapsed intakes/cats etc. This is all standard troubleshooting your tuner should be across. Who is tuning it? Are they a pcmtec Workshop? www.pcmtec.com/workshops
  4. If you want silly stuff, set your minimum pulsewidth really high and disable DFCO. Car will stall and drive like crap but it will blow flames.
  5. If you have the workshop version use the calibration list then compare injector slopes and "average spark". Average spark is from the top load row. Based on this you can tell the compression and fuel of the engine. Lower comp has more timing. You can possibly deduce which engines are gas based on this.
  6. If you have to ask I wouldn't recommend attempting it.
  7. They are all the same so no problem if you use the late model strategy.
  8. I would highly advise against blindly pasting spark maps in. There are so many variables to consider. If you have changed your speed density and the other tune has not, then your load will be different. If your load is different the the commanded spark will not be the same.
  9. Yes just press file -> save/load log layout. It is a plain text file so you can open it in notepad and make up new layouts/re-order the items by hand if you wanted to.
  10. When the TPS is greater than the set point it commands open loop.
  11. What do you mean not do anything in gear? As in stop the ghost cam? Just set 1000rpm to be normal cam timing and set 900rpm to be ghost cam.
  12. Eg fuel -> lambse - > injector duty There is a check box against lambse, injector duty and also the parent item named fuel. If you uncheck the parent it unselects all items within it. You can also right click on the scalar list and press "remove" Finally you can save and open layouts via the file menu. This way you can make various templates depending on what you want to log.
  13. Datalog the torque source when the rev limit occurs. It might be something else. Also can you post your tune up. There may be other limits you need to raise.
  14. There are 5200 DMRs available. How many can you see?
  15. You can also right click in the navigator and click "show changed parameters only". This will hide every parameter which is stock.
  16. You can uncheck the parent tree item to untick all items at once within it. You can also right click and press remove per scalar.
  17. One issue with an injector database is it is dependent on fuel pressure so providing people can measure or they are confident they are running stock pressure. Another issue is SD varies with VE. So if you don't change your SD then what makes perfect slopes on a baby FG turbo won't be the same for a GTX3582. As most people change injectors and the turbo at the same time you have a chicken and egg problem, do you tune SD or do you tune the slopes? You'll get a different answer depending which tuner you speak to. So if we do have a database we should list offset, min pw, deadtime, turbo, SD tables and which turbo you have. Very quickly you end up with a lot of variables that you need to be aware of.

  19. Next version there will be. Currently everything is in "native" units. Eg what Ford use from the factory. This means imperial for everything. inHG (inches of mercury) for pressure, °F for temperature etc. You can use the unit converter or google to translate. Or export to a CSV, apply a math formula and re-open them.
  20. Just turn the knock scalar off.
  21. There is a sensitivity map which is desensitised at higher rpm due to the increased engine noise. The knock system is not perfect and it doesn't surprise me that it misses real knock from time to time especially at higher rpm with an upgraded camshaft. The upgraded cam/valve springs are going to increase the valve train noise quite dramatically. I would look to invest in an aftermarket knock setup.
  22. Hey stranger! Now I know who I'm talking to. Good info. I'll have to try it out on my local car, I trust your analysis.
  23. You need to buy a separate USB analog input cable. We have added support (but it is not yet enabled) for the DLP8 8 channel analog input cable. They do free shipping if you buy a few of the cables so you could do a group purchase. They are roughly $40. This will show up in the datastream along with the rest of the DMRs. https://www.digikey.com.au/product-detail/en/DLP-IO8-G/813-1010-ND/1894342/?itemSeq=286026595 If you delete the DLP8.xml file it may work in the beta, but it will log voltage only. We are working on an equation editor so you can define the voltage to AFR lookup. Full support should be available soon.
  24. You can also save/load logging layouts (only saves the checked variables currently) via the file -> Save log layout and Load log layout in the latest beta.
