  1. Hi K44, the red icon is to indicate what parameters have been changed (compared to the stock file) for the strategy in the current open file. If you want to see the differences between the two files, you would need to follow the steps I mentioned in my last reply.
  2. Hi K44, to compare two different files in your case, you could follow the steps below. Create a stock file of KTDS4NF and leave it open in the Editor. Press "Compare/History". Press "Load Compare File" in the compare view. Select your licensed tune file in the file dialog. Then it will show you all the differences between the two files. Hope this helps.
  3. Hi Bill, what exactly happened when you logged in via the Edge browser? Could you please also share your Edge browser setting so we could investigate for you?
  4. Hi sparkie.m@xtra.co.nz, The source code is no longer available. But the top link still works and you can use that exe in the folder for testing. Best regards
  5. Hi Rob, Sorry to get back to you this late. I wasn't able to reproduce the issue as you stated so I will need further debugging. The files you uploaded are enough. Thanks for that. But at the mean time, could you please update your Editor version with the latest release on the download website? And try if you can reproduce the same issue with your vehicle? https://www.pcmtec.com/downloads Best regards, Zhuojian
  6. Hi Puffwagon, if you see that happens again in the future, could you please let use know by raising a support ticket or send us an email to support@pcmtec.com? Also it would be great if you could also upload the Editor logs to us by "Help" -> "Send Editor Logs to support". Thanks in advanced!
  7. Hi, What version of the Editor you are using at the moment? You could check it via "Help" -> "About". What cable are you using for datalogging? What car is it? There is a way to load your pre-saved layout or default layout back. When the datalogger is running, at the bottom left corner, there is a "Load" button. Press that button and you can load the layout file you want.
  8. Hi Rob, sorry for not being cleared. Could you please also upload the .tlo file you saved to us? It should be in this path "\Documents\PCMTec\Logging Layouts". Thanks!
  9. Hi Rob, could you please also upload the layout files(Trac1, Trac2) you mentioned in the message? Thanks.
  10. Hi Rob, just to gather a bit more information. What version of the Editor are you using? Are you logging the Falcon or Mustang? What cable are you using for connection? Could you please do "Help" -> "Upload Files to Support" -> "Upload Editor Logs to Support"? Thanks.
  11. Hi Will, I have received the email, did you remember what parameter you modified which caused a Full Write?
  12. Hi Will, we have not received the file yet.
  13. Hi Will, could you please upload the CustomOS file to support@pcmtec.com? What parameter has you changed? It's known that for some specific parameters in BA once you modify it, we have to do a full write otherwise a partial write will brick the PCM. Update - The issue above is resolved in 2.11
  14. Hi Will, As you are with Workshop Edition, you will have the feature of "Populate Unlicensed File" under "Calibration Tools" which allows you to view the file without licensing the file, as long as it's not tunerlocked by someone else. So you just need to open the file, go to "Calibration Tools" then "Populate Unlicensed File". We have a licensing guide on the first page of the CustomOS Wizard. If the Editor is asking you for 5 credits, its most likely a Standard Custom OS file. Best regards, Zhuojian
  15. Hi Steve, Could you please upload a screenshot of your "System Information"? One thing I can think of is that, your laptop might require "VC++ 2015-2019 x86" in the bottom of the website page. Please try to install that and try it again. https://www.pcmtec.com/downloads Best regards, Zhuojian
  16. Hi will15, are you logging a Falcon or Mustang? The example I provide above is from Mustang, if you are logging a Falcon it would be different. In terms of the decimal places, in the "Log" tab, check the bottom left corner and there should be a check box called "Expand". Tick the check box, you should see the "+/- Decimals" button. You can use this to adjust the decimal places.
  17. It seems we do not have the unit conversion for STFT, but we do have unit conversion for STFT for Bank1/2. Please check the pic I attached. But I will still pass this information to the development team. To disconnect the Datalogger, there are few ways to do it. Press the "Vehicle" button while the datalogger is running. The button is in grey if the datalogger is running. There is a "X" in the right of the datalogger panel(not the one for closing the Editor though). I have highlighted in the screenshot. Also, you could press "Pause" to pause the datalogger. To define "Pause", the datalogger session is still running in the background, it is just the charts do not get drawn. As soon as you "Start"(same button position but different icon and text) it again, it will continue updating the chart. Hope this information helps.

  20. We only support J2534 cable so Tactrix Openport should be fine. So it still does't read using Tactrix Openport with the Editor?
  21. Hi Mick, what cable you are using for the read? And can this car connect to FORScan?
  22. Hi Mick, our software has only been tested thoroughly with WIN10. But we do have few customers have tried using the Editor with WIN11 and there have been few display issues with it. We are still figuring out what are the causes of it. I recommend you to keep using WIN10 if possible for the best experience. However, if you really need to upgrade to WIN11 and spot any issues, It will be such a great help to send them to us so we could look into it. Thanks.
  23. Hi 79xd250, There are a number of reasons that might prompt you to change the strategy. Without knowing the exact situation, we cannot tell you what this would do. You can send us your current strategy via support portal so we can know better what your situation is. Most importantly, please do not flash any strategy you are not sure into the vehicle.
  24. Any time suits you best is fine and that would be a great help, thanks @Puffwagon.
  25. Hi @Puffwagon, it's Scott here from PCMTEC, I was trying getting to the bottom of your issue happened on last Friday("ctd several times"). I could not find anything stands out from the logs uploaded by the Editor. Just wonder, are you comfortable sending the event logs of your computer on that day to us so I could have bit more information to find out what the actual issue is? Steps to obtain the event logs are as follow if you need any helps. Go to Event Viewer of your computer. Navigate to following section. "Filter Current Log" to the specific date(12/03/2021, the date you experienced the crash). "Save Filtered Log File As" to be a local copy and send that log to support@pcmtec.com Thanks in advance. Best regards, Scott Tan
