I think we actually started out like this and decided the split was cleaner. But its probably reasonably easy to enable something to let you select

Kirby made this in paint, is that what you mean? Or the axis as well? or just the axis?

That’s the Ticket but stack them on top of each other like HPT Scanner ;)

if possible Axis’s as well all hard left !

  2. And Roland has to deal with me being a pain in his arse constantly but the team are doing really well there hahah.

Very happy with the new updates guys keep up the amazing work and that data logger is definitely heading in the right direction !

would there be any chance to have all the values populate on the left hand side of the logger 2D map vs x2 on left and x2 on right ?

  3. Hey Roland & Team

Great job on the scanner, What’s the chances ( unsure if it’s easy enough or not ) to have an option to have the colour/theme/layouts selectable to mimic HPT or SCT Advantage for people/workshops proficient in either of those to utilise a familiar display ?

Not to say the 80’s colour selection isn’t good nostalgic but it’s crazy “Busy” to the eyes haha

Probably more to the point can or has anyone worked their PCMtec layout to reflect as such ?

  4. it’s a reasonable effort Nathan and you’ve got a pretty quick bus indeed now !

I was going to post it on the turbo forum but here is as good as any and something you would be able to pre determine before a result... if you see a result, it’s damage done ( Potentially ) 14* on 98 with 23psi is pretty hectic but... but depending on the build, compression and a huge array of other factors ( that can always change ) it might be right.

Knock detection will be screaming way before this and or any scanner KR activity as calibrated Knock detection does wonderful things for your eyes/ears/data logs and you can avoid Dyno graph detection ;)

have you read jets thread on xr6turbo? sometime he puts out some wisdom, but as a tuner they aren't going to tell you what they have spent hours finding out, not for free anyway.

Sometimes ? LoL never, i hear he’s a total butt stick

O.P ..... Buy a stand alone Knock detection device, Hire a Dyno, Report back ;)

    That’s the answer

I am aware that to change from the FGX XR6 Turbo to the Sprint tune that there are also hardware differences.

It requires an F6 turbo, Intercooler and Injectors.

all the FGX Sprint turbos are the same I know they are all the 3582 as the Sprint is unique to the FGX And there are zero difference in the wastegate port size and the actuator spring size Over the XR GT3576 in the FG/Mk2/FGX ( Cheap ford )

I have all the parts already and would simply need to swap those hardware items over and the create the tune so that it is the Sprint tune, flash it into the car and away I go but it’s actually not a great calibration and i could do much better looking at what Ford has done and using it only as a Guide when on the Dyno to create a much better full custom tune.

IF anyone doesn’t know the actuator springs are all The same part number and  there are no variances in the port sizing and all difference’s are from Target and Duty cycle changes plus some gain tweaks on the closed loop area.

    Solid statement buddy ;)

  7. Yeh nar

Mk2 onwards has Driveline protection which PCMtech has mapped, not all Strategies have it But it’s there and this is what you’re actually seeing and not limited too F6 variants

Have multiple FG F6 Mk2’s and FGX customers who love 4th gear ZF action

    Jus sayn
