Post the file. I've seen this recently caused by parameters in the tune itself.

Now is this only happening because I have not as of yet purchased PCMTEC?
Up until now I have been using the demo Version to show to friends who have expressed an interest in Purchasing the PCMTEC software to use on their own cars.
I hope to soon purchase a Professional License for PCMTEC but have been holding out for the moment as the Demo was extremely glitchy running on my Dual boot 2010 Macbook Pro. Especially when compared to VCM Editor from HP Tuners, which has so far been nothing but rock solid stable...
It's 2022 mate, might be time to invest in newer hardware irrelevant if you use this software or not..

Greetings,
I have a 06 Nov build Territory Turbo Ghia, with an issue prior. I diagnosed being the coils, of which the car under load will just breakdown in high RPM and trans will make a big bang , dash lights come up and speedo will stop working, once dash lights disappear after a split second (ABS, DSC, Traction control) car will operate again as normal, but no speedo..no DTC errors appear also. I have chased this issue down to being coils...once changed all working well.
Other day I gave the car a boot full, back fired at high rpm between gear changed and started to miss. Thought I hurt the motor, but cylinder 6 coil failed. I replaced and off we go again with no issues.. gave it a boot full again and the phenomenon of trans banging and losing speedo appeared..So I suspect another coil is playing up.. if you drive car under normal load..all fine..moment you lean on it, reappears.. spark plugs are checked and gapped to .7
question...is there a way to load test the coils? Or what is the underlying issue if anyone seen such problem?
I know how to address, just replace all coils, but I want to trouble shoot which one and what's causing this..I suspect a high current or Spike in voltage causing this... Original set was factory, second set was old non genuine laying around..I replaced cylinder six with a genuine.
Regards
Abz
Probably a result of incorrectly copying a tune not designed for the car...

hay guys i have a 2009 ford falcon FG xr6 turbo with the 6 speed auto zf, had the trans cooler fail and the gearbox milkshaked,
have got it all flushed out, the torque converter is starting to play up, the work shop said its going to fail and he reckons the gearbox will follow ( atm its fine changes gears etc good )
plan is to swap out the gearbox now before it craps outs
have found a 2nd hand gearbox from a BF xr6 turbo, i understand they are the same, would we need to swap out the BF tcm and replace it with the TCM from my FG box?
sorry but reading up on the net, some people say you don't need to swap it out and some people say you do?
thank you for your time
I can code this for you in Melbourne. Contact me for details

Seeking a non-invasive solution

Additional functionality that would be useful for the racing guys, picking up wheel speed and correcting for different size wheels and tyres front to rear.
I get asked for this quite a bit and have no solution available to offer.
When cars are fitted with radials for drag days, this induces a limp home condition and makes the car undrivable.

The engine will not start without this loop being installed as the PCM has no communication with the rest of the vehicle.

Edit : highly recommended to check this tool out
Hi Guys,
I am far from a tuner however would like to know if a car has had 1000CC injectors installed, no other mods and a stock tune, what parameters would need to be changed for the car to be able to drive to a tuner?
Any input welcome.
Thank you
