Check both the OSID & strategy match too. I came across a BA a while ago that had mismatched OSID to strategy & it was seen as a custom OS, resulting in some tools not recognising the pcm & it not being able to be read by anything but PCMTEC. It may not be your problem but something to be aware of.

I'm guessing that someone has selected "write calibration" instead of write entire using another tool eg HP resulting in the mismatch. OSID is HAAMG, strategy is HAANCG4. PCMTEC shows it as PCMFMG4
I've attached a copy so you can see what had happened with OSID & Strategy.

Hi Will, could you please upload the CustomOS file to support@pcmtec.com? What parameter has you changed? It's known that for some specific parameters in BA once you modify it, we have to do a full write otherwise a partial write will brick the PCM.

    Just emailed the file

  3. Hey guys just downloaded a tune file from a BA and it said it was a custom OS and will take 5 credits to open and tune, how do i tell what custom OS it is and is there a list of custom OS's some where to look at to see what there is availble.

Max at the rpm switch point. See what that does. Roland said you want that thing disabled anyway.

yeah i did try setting it to a high rpm and also turning it off that didn't make auf0060 table work either. What pid do i log for total engine torque?.

I see, you got that intake manifold runner switch. Valve closes at >3,900rpm

    All I can see is...

MAP at Zero Airmass IMRC Open auF0057
MAP at Zero Airmass IMRC Closed auF16456

Slope of MAP per AIRCHARGE IMRC Open auF0060
Slope of MAP per AIRCHARGE IMRC Closed auF1911

Like I said, never mucked around with a N/A anything before.

If manual, just do what Puff said and add it to the base fuel. If auto, can still do as Puff said but just keep an eye on data logged torque to make sure it looks like plausible. Generally at WOT, rear wheel torque plus 130N gets you close.

Yeah its a auto i will check torque in the scanner

Just putting it out there. If you have to "rape" the base fuel table to get fuelling in line then also the torque model will be out. Best to spend extra and buy DW or ID injectors with good data. Not a big deal I suppose if manual, but auto will need tweaks to get torque management / line & shift pressures back into line.

cheers mate can you please give me a list of what tables to look at?.

It seems we do not have the unit conversion for STFT, but we do have unit conversion for STFT for Bank1/2. Please check the pic I attached. But I will still pass this information to the development team.

To disconnect the Datalogger, there are few ways to do it.

    1. Press the "Vehicle" button while the datalogger is running. The button is in grey if the datalogger is running.

    2. There is a "X" in the right of the datalogger panel(not the one for closing the Editor though). I have highlighted in the screenshot.

    3. Also, you could press "Pause" to pause the datalogger. To define "Pause", the datalogger session is still running in the background, it is just the charts do not get drawn. As soon as you "Start"(same button position but different icon and text) it again, it will continue updating the chart.

    Hope this information helps.

I don't have comanded lambda er bank 1 or commanded equivelence ratio, also logging commanded final lambda bank 1 when going into the lower numbers like lambda 0.85 in the scanner it only will read single digit numbers, but when reading leaner number's like lambda 1.10 it will show that. And is there a way to log o2 sensor 1 volts?. Cheers.

auF0061 is "slope of MAP per AIRCHARGE BF", this is the one you want to change.

Here is the write up of how it all works.

There is no auf0061 i think only the turbos have that table?, iv been playing with auf0060 and auf0057 but nothing changes over 4000rpm.

Yerp I've got a second sense when my fuel pressure goes low, it's happened so many times before. It's always a weird bit when it comes on boost then it runs out up top.

It’s got plenty of fuel I can scale the injector for what I want but then it’s super rich cruise and mid, I tried a couple sd tables but they don’t work over 4000rpm I think that’s due to them being for the intake runner being closed after 3800rpm, what tables are you talking about?

  10. I know there are threads on this already that go into great detail and get very complex, but is there any tables i can tweak just to riching this thing up at WOT with out having to turn into a math expert.  BA n/a with a supercharger, im happy with the injector scaling just need a bit more fuel up top. Cheers.

Hi will15, please go to the Download page(remember to log in to your account), download and install the latest 2.1 Editor as the new version will give you the ability to change the unit for LTFT, also lots of bugfixes and UI improvements from 1.25.
    https://www.pcmtec.com/downloads

Cheers that looks a lot better, is there a way to change the STFT to a % as well, and how do i disconnect the scanner i have to close the program to disconnect atm.
