Yes this requires the workshop edition. Most of these guides expect that you are using the workshop edition.

Got it to work fine on my fg xr8, you dont need the workshop edition

something to add, had to change auF12796 to 0 because it would oscillate between 4k and 2.5k instead of pegging at 3.5k

trying to get antilag launching, but it's purely using throttle to control the rev limit? followed everything in this post but it wont pull any timing?

I followed the bf part of this guide here are my the results on a 05 ba xt manual. There was a few of the auf I couldn't do on the ba pcm

The type of torque reduction performed is defined here:

1 = ETC (Throttle only)

2 = Spark retard, enleanment, injector cut and ETC

3/4 = Spark retard, enleanment injector cut only

4 may have been different in earlier models (BA) where they could run as lean as 1.2 lambda, due to NOx emissions this function is disabled effectively making mode 3 and 4 identical.

Does 0 do anything? disabled hopefully?

Correct. 0 will completely disable torque reduction for that source. It is the same as turning the torque module switch off (all torque reductions disabled).
