JEGUNTER
Set up custom OS on my 2018 mustang and have it working well enough. Wondering if there is a way tie tunes to drive modes like this https://www.facebook.com/pcmtec/videos/mustang-multi-tune-with-ghost-cam-in-track-mode-only/3103056403105050/ with the single car DIY protuner also, my tach is not sweeping or responding to inputs when switching tunes. Car switches tunes and runs well otherwise.
Roland@pcmtec
You require the CustomOS to do this. Then you can have 4 tunes + a launch tune. We believe this is far more powerful than using the drive mode. That video was an early proof of concept which we abandoned as drive mode is not remembered after the car is restarted. For the tach to sweep you need to turn the car accessories on, do not start the car. Wait and it will sweep. If you start the car immediately it will not sweep. We don't sweep the dash when the car is running. For any technical support send in a video to https://support.pcmtec.com with a description of the issue. JEGUNTER
Understood, thank you. In regards to the sweep, im not so concerned about it. My main concern is that the tach doesn't respond to any inputs from the custom os, it will not snap to whatever tune I have selected during tune select, running or not

This sounds like a bug that we can test on the bench. A 2018 Mustang is nothing unusual and we have never heard of this before and would love to get this fixed. Please include a video showing if you have an analog or digital dash and if you have any other OBD accessories plugged into the vehicle (aftermarket immobilizer etc) https://support.pcmtec.com
JEGUNTER
Got it, I appreciate the help and badass software. Idk if this is of any relevance but when i read the car I didnt think to read the tcm because its an mt82 car. Trying that with a reflash currently. Will update if it works, if not ill submit a ticket
