  1. Hi

Thanks for the latest update, reading through the release notes it mentions partial write is now available for the BA. I tested this today, looks promising for a short write time unfortunately it threw up an error. Strategy is HABNCF4, Black Oak

    Cheers

  2. Hi

I did sort of ask about this in another thread but i figured i should start a new one. I had a laptop die while flashing the other night, i re-flashed successfully and the car fired up fine. The next morning the car would crank fine but would not fire. I fired up forscan and am getting output from all the sensors but i also noticed the vehicle security access status in forscan has denied as the status. what is the possibility that i have cooked the PCM? Also tried a second key in case my main key just died but still the same outcome. The smart shield light on the dash does go out when i turn the key just not sure about the status denied.

  3. Thanks for the info.  I had a laptop die on me halfway through a flash last night, got it going again and re-flashed successfully and the car fired up no worries.

This morning the car would crank but would not fire. Do you think something could have been corrupted still even though it flashed successfully and worth doing the recovery mode option?

  4. All i want to do is achieve what the traction control button on the dash does but via the tune(stop the throttle cut and stop the brakes applying and still have ABS). I want to fit a LSD center soon and have read that you need to disable traction control and i don't want to have to push the traction control button every time i hit the key.

  5. Obviously i know it is a safety feature, the car is an auto so i am out of luck it seems. Thanks for the info Roland. I might just hook up a one shot relay to the button so it fires the switch output when the ignition is turned on, that will still do what i want.

    Cheers

  6. Yeah the braking only happens at low speed. The output from the traction control button on the dash does that go to the PCM. I was hoping i could force a flag on from the button.

    Cheers

  7. Thanks for the replies. Roland, yes i set auF0410  to disabled and zeroed the traction control in auF0264/auF0265.

The strategy is HABNCF4. I am not trying to solve a problem as such, just gain control of the traction control. It would be nice to be able to disable it when i get to the point of going to the drags so i don't need to remember to hit the button to disable it each time you cycle the key.

Daryl thanks for the info i will give that a try, not sure what dually is though.

  8. Hi

I am trying to disable traction control and have stopped the throttle control cut out but i can't find whats controlling the brake side of the traction control. Can someone please point me in the right direction.

    Cheers
