It always has coyote tick show up after about 2-3 mins of fresh start oil pressure is high during initial start, as soon as the pressure drops down i hear the tick. then the car warms up to about 170f head temp and the sound goes away. I am wanting to adjust that variable oil pump. Has anyone done it? can I just tell it that the hardware isn't present? or is that a bad idea? I just want my idle warm oil pressure to be a little higher than 15lbs. and it hold s that pressure till 2600rpm unless I'm in the throttle.
