FP Tune as Baseline?

Flattop

Recommended Posts

Currently running a Ford Performance tune on my 2015 Mustang ecoboost.  That seemed like a good starting point for what I wanted to do, and I was hoping to do a compare against a stock non-FP file to see where Ford made changes.  I attempted to read it into the PCMTec editor and while it did read it, got a message that it was unrecognized and the file was locked as uneditable.  Asked me if I wanted to send it to support, so I clicked "yes".  No feedback when I did that, so not sure what happens now.  Did that actually send the file, or is there something else I need to do to make that happen?  Is there some hope that it will show up in the stock calibration list some day and I'll be able to edit my current tune, or do I have to go back to the original stock tune and start from there?
