  1. Ah yeah good point, heres a full rundown: BA NA+T BTR 4SPD Greentop Barra 4bar reg, turbo map sensor, highmount manifold with pulsar 3584 Bosch 980cc injectors (0280158040) New Spark Plugs and coilpacks (plugs gapped to 0.06 inches) Upon further data logging it feels like as soon as it builds boost it hits a wall at 1.0 load, so maybe its less of a throttle issue and maybe more of a freaking out under boost issue? But there have been times where I've ran it and its boosted up to 12psi pretty much fine? Although it working correctly is a rare occurrence. 250922 BA Tune.tec 25-09-2022 12-20-10 PM Log.teclog
  2. So the issue appears to be as a result as soon as load hits 1.0 its starts to hesitate? I have gapped the plugs and they are new as well as the coils but I will reinvestigate. I feel like as the 1.0 load is such a hard barrier maybe it's a tune issue?

  4. Hey guys, Feel like I'm chasing my tail with this one and going insane. According to data logger everything is fine, no knock wideband reads plenty rich. When accelerating at WOT as soon as I build boost I get backfires and the car loses all power (only just increasing at rpms) usually happens from about 3k rpm. But if I accelerate slowly it'll build boost and feel totally fine. Only an issue at WOT and close to WOT. Fueling and knock is fine, I have a set of ghetto knock ears and they sound fine too. Any ideas on where to look, I'm honestly out of ideas here
  5. Alright cheers ill give it a go. All sounds and seems good at a glance though. Anywhere else i should look in the case I don't hear anything?
  6. Nah internal ts gate, only on 7psi
  7. I'll double check, but looks all fine to me. Plus shouldn't I pick that up on my knock ears?
  8. G'day guys, I'm having a rather significant issue with false knock. Before I get too far I have knock ears (kind of ghetto ones, but can definitely clearly hear knock when it is actually knocking). Regularly pulling out 8 degrees up a hill at a load of 0.5-0.65 (still well within vacuum). Generally pulls a fair bit of timing under load (4 degs) but I've got it running super rich (about 0.8 lambda in boost) and timing has been set to 6 degs in boost, yet is still pulling timing sometimes into the negatives. Any ideas where to start? Tried thicker oil and it did have some improvement, but thinking potentially dud knock sensor? P.S I have very significantly detuned the knock sensors, which has improved it but there areas that are still terrible!
  9. So, update. It all seems fine, I'm thinking it could be related to my timing, though when it happens the pcm doesnt seem to be pulling out much/any timing? It's so odd this issue, in the same drive it can be going like shit as soon as i hit 300ish on the TPS and then 5 minutes later its going well and then after another 10 minutes its back doing what it was (with no obvious causes in the datalog).
  10. G'day guys, Working on my ba once again. Still trying to resolve my weird misfiring under load issue. It appears to be happening when TPS is above 300 or so and the spark table switches to borderline. I'm still very much learning, but I feel as if it has something to do with the way I've done my Load_FG values, as mine goes up to 1.2, but I was doing some reading and in theory for my boost levels it should go up to 1.6? Though the other thing i noted is it appears Spark FLT load might not quite be correct. Honestly, I'm really not sure. I'll paste my data log and tune down below, in the data log look at areas where the tps is greater than 300. If there's anymore info i can provide please let me know. 11. That sounds like it could be the source of my problem. Tuning the trans changed everything, which i thought was odd. I'll look into it cheers.
  12. Honestly not sure what that really even is. What should I look for? I'm still very much learning.
  13. The odd thing is, datalogger doesn't really show anything out of the ordinary? Like it doesn't look to be pulling out excessive timing or anything.
  14. No, not overboosting. Happens in vacuum most the time. Coils and plugs are brand new. Gap is 0.7 (I've tried changing it around and it seems to make no difference).
  15. Hey everyone, I've done an Na+t conversion in my ba falcon, its got a greentop in it (stock atm). I'm currently tuning it myself through pcmtec, I've been slowly refining the tune and getting it good but a little stuck in this one area. It appears that it will misfire underload, to be more specific, this happens generally at 3000rpm when the throttle position is >400, though it can happen really at any time if I step on it hard enough. Since tuning my btr, this issue seems to disapppear after about 15 minutes of driving, though sometimes the issue comes back after a while. Some leaning out of the fuel has improved this issue, though I'm still having this issue at 12ish afr. Please let me know if theres more information I can provide. Apologies for the poor explanation. Cheers
  16. Yep, im a dumbass. Loading the standard file fixed it. Cheers!
  17. Suddenly my data logger only shows ACT? Tried restarting pcmtec and my car, just happened randomly, any solution?
