ok, it looks like there might have been a setting in the Views list that was stopping it, i can find the tables now
thankyou so much
Hi, the image below is from my tune, as you can see it differs from the example you posted in your guide. My query is which line do I change to match your example as I have more lines?
Thanks, Steve

Send us an email with your file and the specific scalars you can't find, or if you are happy to share publicly you can post it here as an attachment.
actually it's the tables mentioned above that i can't find. Does it matter that the tune is a Herrod/Sct tune?
cheers

Hi, with the compare ability, is it as simple as having file A loaded on the left then loading a compare file on the right, then the program does the comparison automatically?
I tried a little test by making a small change in a file then saving it as a different file name then loading the original then the changed file as the compare file to see if the change was picked up
but the only thing that happened was when the changed file was being loaded a question popped up asking if I wanted to load a partial file, which I tried but nothing showed in the window.
So, not really sure how to do this comparing, could it be explained a bit please?
Thanks, regards Steve

Reading does not affect anything in the PCM. If the vehicle won't start after a read simply unplug the cable. It won't start if it is still in test mode (enabled during a read or a write).
There is no way for a read to erase or remove the software from the PCM.
oh lol, simple as that.
thankyou

Hi, well I've done my first read of the PCM and TCM. This went not so well as it left the ECU without a strategy. This is why I asked in my previous post if the read did this or did it just effectively copy the strategy and therefore left it operational.
Anyway, after slight panic we managed to fix it all up and now it's all good, whew!!
That's one done....
Cheers, Steve

Hi, I just have a question about when a vehicle is "read" does this remove the strategy from the vehicle or is it in effect "copying" the strategy to the computer so it can then be saved?
cheers, Steve
