I wonder what triggers the fan to stay on after the key is out sometimes after a decent flogging

Thank you for the response I thought that might be the case, my elm went straight in the bin it was dead on arrival a few years back

Is there a way to use the Openport 2.0 adaptor the access MS CAN with forscan 

 

I need to disable police mode in a G6E but I can't pick-up the instrument cluster? 

I know the eBay spec elm adaptors have a manual switch but I only have the op 2.0

Out of curiosity I tried this on my mates straight piped BA, sitting on the 3k neutral limiter was deafening and made for a fun Saturday night! Thanks for the advice 🙂 I'll put up a video later

I was finally able to try a few different settings results in the video.

- ETC disabled via auF0265 & auf0264

- auF1479 set to 0.8 Lambda

- RPM limit 4850 and fuel cut 5000rpm for testing

- Time and amount that rpm limit can be exceeded both set to 0

- auF0262 Engine speed limiting set to 0.6

- auF0261 Engine speed limiting set to 1

Im going for something more agressive similar to @misk any feedback would be appreciated

Has anyone successfully changed from the soft limiter to something that resembles the classic "wun-dun" from the sohc? 

 

Looking at certain settings under RPM limit but I haven't tried anything yet looking for some input 😀 cheers

I'm looking to experiment with Ghost cams, some decel crackles etc.

 

Just wondering if PCMTec professional would give me access to the required parameters to do this with a SY 2007 without having to use workshop features like flashing a different OS? 

I understand that multitune via cruise control won't be available
