First of all the car is a 03 ford fairmont I've done a few things one of the first thing that it noticed when hook up to ob2 port comes up as (my04) 2003 parts car was a 05 ba mk2 I converted the fairmont to mk2 by changing all the computer modules and using a ba fairmont mk2 dashboard.
Mods list,
F6 under headlight intake
F6, xr8 intake snorkel
Upper territory intake pipe to throttle body,
Bf xr8, xr6t 322mm front brakes
T56 heavy duty clutch
T56 performance flywheel
Au t5 converted to ba/bf spec
Fgx xr6 rims 245/40R18
Fg-fgx manual pedal box converted to suit ba/bf
50mm rad
Raised rpm to 6500rpm and tables to go up to 6500rpm
Vdo oil pressure gauge f6 spec hooked up just like how the f6 is
Pro Street afr gauge to aid with tuning using a standard bf cat pipe
Xr8 abs module so t/c works as factory
So has anyone used HAAT3VC on a N/A BA and tuned it to suit a N/A, what did yous use to fill in the new tables that the ba didn't have??
-
Sorry for the late reply. Removing the heat shield from around the cat did stop the pcm picking up knock tested on two ba's

here is a datalog with rpm. the tp seems to say that the throttle is not closed?
-
I'll do that is there any thing else you want me to log?
-
Tp raw is throttle body?? Whats normal range how can I make it work as it should some n/a tunes 0-500 some are 0-250?
-
The car is idles is 1000rpm rpm like you suggested. Question this tp raw is that pedal?
-
the .tec file your asking for would be my tune? HAAT3VC HACCEF8(RLR,RL,GS).tec
the car is usually cooler when its been driven on a normal day i waited till the first line GS TRY 4.teclogGS TRY 3.teclog

Can you attach your .tec file and please add MID04853 CAM VCT Source to the datalog
In the logs you attached your car is very cold with ECT at 43c and EOT at 28c. You need the car to be at normal operating temperature for the VCT to function properly.
Get the car up to operating temperature before taking the next datalog and let us know what happens.
I'll do that for you

Could you take a datalog showing the tp, rpm, commanded cam angles, angle error and cam source.
Try touching the throttle a tiny tiny amount and set the ghost cam to work up to 1200 rpm and see if it works. That will see if it's the idle mode being the issue or not.
here are the datalogs. i did what you said i made a new using using this guide
it doesnt do it when the car starts i have to tap the pedel then it will gs but it goes back to smooth idle if i tap the pedal it will gs again
-
Should a raise the idle or keep it as stock?
-
I will try tomorrow morning and ill do a datalog and get back to you.
-
I doing ghost cam to a n/a different to turbo because I've followed this guide and seems not to work on my ba with HAAT3VC ?

Speaking of tremec t5 it is possible to take au world class t5 and chang the parts to suit ford ba,bf bellhousing, input shaft, top cover with bar and rear housing and now you have a ba tremec t5
-
@Roland@pcmtecthis is a good idea speaking of vid I need in for a fgx xt6 with 18inch wheels??

I only done just done a auto to manual conversion last year on a 05 ba xt the only thing that needed was new manual pcm to be step up to the car by changing vss from abs via can to abs via wire sadly that car got ridden off..
I brought a new ba a 03 Fairmont and now im wanting to put a tremec t5 in. At first the manual pcm didn't like the car i was getting a abs error, pcm miss match, my tc light was on wouldn't turn on and daul zone icc was showing code that was a forscan fix..
The abs module i had in my car was T, AB I found a 04 xr8 abs module that was T, AC and that seemed to work I've gotten no errors and tc works as it should now. Im just wanting on a few parts and ill keep yours guys posted

i have had a look over your tec file from months ago. i cant see your actuall throttle input, but you can see the throttle position changed as you get to 3k.
the TQ source stays as driver demand, but the spark source changes to coldengine/low load at this time...so i had a look through for that.
auF0211 - Low load spark adder based on engine speed and load
now i dont know if this is even close but this bad boys values only go up to 3k and your hitting 3k...so coinsedence?
also your coolant & head tempture doesn't change from 58 that entire log and i find that hard to believe. is your sensor fubared?
I'll try this on my new car. The sensor was fine in the bf
