    The GM S5 solenoid is far too aggressive for the BTR 4 speed. I had one in my built BTR and even with the shift settings set to the highest mA settings the trans would slam through all the shifts. Had the BTR S5 solenoid installed and the shifts are now fully controllable.

    There was never an fg turbo with a btr afaik. They only had the 5r55 and the zf. The taxis came na with a btr but you'll still get an abs fault as the turbo and na abs is different.

    Haanf is for a ba black oak and hacck is for a bf Spanish oak so which pcm is in the car?

    Edit: Make a new thread and put a list of what modules are in the car. Depending what you swapped and didn't you've probably made a Frankenstein which will need Ids and some calibration changes

  3. Can anyone tell me what vehicle A5GF/HACCKGA is from? It's a BTR Turbo calibration, but the axle scaling shows 2.73 diff ratio which is completely incorrect.

    I need a BTR 4 speed turbo calibration that will run in my 2007 SY NA Territory that won't cause the ABS/DSC light in the instrument cluster to illuminate.

    Not publicly, getting correct calibration settings for the BTR is next to impossible, in fact I'd go so far to say that it's almost non existent. Having looked through all the SCT files going back to 2005 no one's nailed the correct settings,  most BTR's fail over 280-300rwkw in stock guise, the built ones still destroy clutches and bands. Tuners gave up, the typical comment is the BTR is crap, go get a ZF.

    That said, the stock BTR in my Territory is about to fail, I can hear rumbling noise in 1st gear. Hopefully the built trans will arrive tomorrow, fit up by the end of the week.

    Nope, just 98 octane. Im not much for disabling spark and torque cuts, they're there for a reason i.e. to stop the BTR from burning itself out during gearshifts. I like the fact I've got the PCM to make a similar exhaust note during gearshift as the FG turbo. I've got a built BTR going in the vehicle the next few weeks, it's going to have to deal with 400-500rwkw depending on fuel type. The trans wont live with torque management zeroed.

    I tried different values - between -15 to +5. It's not that effective anyway with my vehicle, I don't have the range of gears to go through with the 4 speed auto. When you lift off the throttle the rpm drops fairly quickly to under 2000rpm as the torque converter doesn't stay locked like it does in the ZF.

    I’ve changed the diff gears in my car over a year ago, from the 3.45 to 4.11 gears.

    Before in Drive it use to change into 4th at 60 now I have to be doing 68-70 for it to change.

    Yep, I'm tuning the BTR in my 2007 SY Territory which I've just installed a built FG turbo engine into. Diff ratio has been changed from 3.73 to 3.23.

    You need to change the axle ratio in the axle table, however this won't automatically correct the gear changes. In the shift/lock schedule you also need to scale the transmission shift points. You'll need to reduce the table by ~ 0.85 and see test drive to see.

    A word of advice. The performance shift table is not the performance shift table. Try adjusting either of the Shift Schedule Towing/Towing Cruise Mode tables to adjust the transmission when in SSS mode.

    Did you know the PCM for the BTR can also allow the engine to make the 'farting' noise during gearshift?

    Having reviewed a lot of A4 tunes from various places it's no wonder the BTR transmissions had such a high failure rate. Their programming was completely wrong.

    No. Turning off the torque module switch disables all torque reductions, but also disables DFCO for whatever reason.
