Ironmanisanemic
Im new to PcmTec, but not to tuning in general. With the coyote and ecoboost platforms having mapped points, what tool does pcmtec have for tuning the Speed Density parameters? there are 6 one row tables for each mapped point that are used to calculate the "speed density". Tools like HPTuners, CoreTuning, and SCT so a small degree all have tools available to help with the tuning of these areas. HPTuners and CoreTuning specifically have "calculated Speed Density Tables" that you can edit like any other SD table, and it does the calculations for what needs to be changed to what area per mapped point. Im hoping PCMTec has something to help aid the adjustment of this area, or at the very least have a general procedure how to go through it manually. Roland@pcmtec
This will be developed in the future (likely next year). For now you would be best off creating an excel spreadsheet to do these tasks. It is a highly complex task and we are actively looking for an appropriate person to write training material on this. We are software engineers and not tuners ourselves so we have typically out sourced this to experienced tuners.
