Hi All,

Im currently using an old Toshiba Qosmio F60 to run pcmtec however it freezes when I datalog. So im looking at buying something a bit newer, faster etc.

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations in terms of laptop specs that will run the datalogging smoothly and also has a good battery life.

Thanks!

Recommend an i5 with 16gb of ram and an SSD hard drive.

The Dell factory outlet has some great deals

Remember that your laptop is one of the most important tools as a mechanic/tuner. You don't buy your ratchets from the bargain bin at kmart so make sure you spend money for a quality laptop.

Awesome,

Thanks for the help Roland. Its been many years since ive purchased a laptop and had no idea what's good these days.

Cheers
