  1. Hey I have a Elm327 and tactrix 2.0 I noticed when I use the Elm327 that im able to do abs module car tested on 06 bf xt and that had all the other models.

  3. I'm trying to help a friend out. The car kinda makes noise around 2,000rpm its like bottom end. The engine was rebuilt setting back the old owner 19k and the car is also been dyno turned it Made 370rwkw about 5 years ago. HAEDJR5.tec secound run.teclog fg turbo 1st.teclog

  5. ive been running 98 now thanks for the info the pcm is a factory manual pcm any ideas why it would still do it?

The bf auto is going to be a burnout car I've tired removing the rpm limit in neutral and upping the rev limit auf2418, auf16620, auf0139, auf0144, auf0133, auf2035, auf2306 I seem not to be able to remove the rev limit in neutral. The only way I seem to bypass this is auf1013 making it thinking it is a manual.
  10. Hello im looking at tuning a ba manual and a bf auto im wanting to raise the engine limiter over 6000rpm?? and on the bf auto wanting to raise the neutral limit from 3000rpm to over 6000rpm?? I couldn't get the bf auto in neutral to rev past 3000rpm is there something im doing wrong?
  11. I seem to have the car sorted i flashed the pcm back to stock tune and had to edit the final drive to match what was stock in the car. I still have no idea why it was just turning off during medium and heavy load somewhere in between 3000rpm to 5000rpm??, this is one of the codes that come up P1270 And is it normal for the car to go into limp by just pressing the brake and releasing the clutch?? I think I'm chasing fasle knock im running 91 atm the clutch is still not bedded in im about halfway there so the clutch,flywheel and pressure plate are abit noisy seems to only be in neutral i do have a noisy heat shield around the cat it is pretty loud can any of these set the knock sensor off car does weird things like cylinder cut as the car is driving???
  12. Short story the cars says P1270 - Engine RPM or Vehicle Speed limiter reached But rpm has not been reach then the car turns off.

  14. hello i not long ago put a manual in my 05 ba xt i converted it from auto and i ended up finding the pcm i needed to complete the job it was from a 05 ba xr6 history unknown. i put the pcm in the car and did pats so i could start the car then i noticed that car had no speedo i ended up getting that sorted out. short time after the pcm got sorted i put the car in 2nd gear on the grass put my foot on it car went sideways i go to straighten up i was around 4000rpm but under 5000rpm and the car went into limp i turned off the car started the car it was fine i checked for codes another time i put on the brake and release the clutch i can get the rpm to drop and the car goes into limp turned off car and checked for codes and then taken the car on a few test drives to how the manual feels some drives were about 10 mins to 30 mins drives and the car drove fine no limp checked for codes on every drive. i ended up going taken for a 2 hour drive was fine most of the way there but i went to over take the car did the fine by the time i was back in my line i noticed the engine light was on and the car wasn't running i had to turn off and start the car again drove the rest of the way there i checked the codes and the drove home fine. The second time doing the same trip the car was taking of from first to second and the car just turned off didn't even make it out of town this time but turn off the car and turn it back on drove the rest of the there fine so i check the codes clear them as i done many times before this on the way home it did just up the road from second to third so i data log it on the rest of the way home car drove fine. but today i went to the milk bar i live in a hilly place getting up to the speed limit the car just died turned it on drove drove home did the same thing checked the codes when when i got home and some of the data logs the cars in n and i have no idea whats going on with the car and car never did things like this when it was a auto. the codes that i have unloaded is the normal codes that the car gets nearly every time. sorry i tired to edit again auto correction

  17. Im going from a btr 4 speed auto to a t5 as I have it already. Will I need a new pcm for the t5 or thats only if I want the t56?? I had a look at website from what I seen ford used my pcm module type in the mk1's maybe a mk1 manual strategy would work. What options do I have if i keep the t5 and current pcm, try and flash a manual strategy if that doesn't work try and edit the current auto strategy if that doesn't work would a custom os work?? as of the auto loom ill repin and rewire to suit t5. I'm really hoping I can use my current pcm as I've been looking for nearly 3 years and only one that popped up a couple of years ago and it was DOA. I'm waiting on the Tactrix Openport 2.0 to come in the mail and then I'll buy pcmtec pro and start learning what needs to be done. @BeerTurbo thanks for the reply.
  18. @Roland@pcmtec my cars current pcm strategy is HAANGA6??. From the research I did when looking for the right manual pcm for my car and that was strategy HAANGB6. Am I on the right path that I would most likely use strategy HAANGB6 to flash to my pcm?

  20. @Roland@pcmtecThank you for the info. I was told its was going to cost just under $1500 to get it done plus dyno tune they wouldn't do it without the dyno tuning. So buying the tool and buying professional edition is still cheaper in my case and I'm happy to learn. Thank you so much for the replies.
  21. @Roland@pcmtec is it easy to get a manual strategy with professional edition? Will pcmtec be able to do do the manaul strategy for my pcm? Im going from a btr 4 speed to a t5 do I do all the steps from zf to manual guide? I have a feeling I might lose cruise control i do have au t5 speedo gear and clutch pedal switch can I use these to fix if I run into that issue?
