BA XR8 CAMMED SPEED DENSITY VIA MAP

Hi Everyone

Trying to tune a ba xr8 with cams that i have applied the speed density via map COS. No matter what i do i can not get it to run on anything but one line on the slope table which at the moment is 0 inhg. As you will see in the tune file i have 0 in the map and the car will run fine. I dont know if i have messed up the load axis or if it is because their is no stock file available for it.

Please help.

In the datalogger it runs through all the cells but in the tune on the slope map i only have 0 inhg with logical numbers at low load and all the other cells i have filled with 0 to verify that it is only referencing the 0 inhg line.

I have populated the axis area with numbers matching what i am seeing in the datalogger 0 -5 -10 -15 -20 -25 inhg, i have put 0 5 10 15 20 25 inhg as well. i have used Kpa instead both negative and positive and all i manage to do is change whether it uses the top or bottom line of of the slope table. If you have some idea on what scale to use i am all ears.

Thanks Puffwagon

I am not getting very far with this. As you can see i have put 0 in all the cells above 0 inhg and this does not affect the running at all.

I have tried different values both positive and negative in the axis and it will still only runs of 1 line. It usually just changes whether it takes the top or bottom line.

It will completely ignore anything in the mid range cells. It is running as if as though it was still referencing cam angle which as we know in a 5.4 does not change at all.
