I'm using a Tactrix Openport for the editor and it does connect with Forscan but my OBD2 Australia dongle does not

Should I be able to read a FGX Ecoboost? I have tried public release and Beta, have tried recovery, full read and virtual read and can not communicate with the car. Vehicle info does not bring up any information either.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I'm intending on sticking to Windows 10 at the moment, but worried that one of my previous computers updated automatically and don't want this to occur on this laptop. I think I have all settings set so that it doesn't update automatically

My laptop keeps trying to get me to update to Windows 11, I normally avoid updating early days, but just wanted to know will Pcmtec work with Windows 11?

My FG Mk2 Turbo ZF ute does not list and As Built data for the ABS when read with Forscan, it would be interesting to see if any others can read it

there is auF1594 that limits engine rpm based on oil temp

are you 100% positive that auf2078 and auf0277 relates to oil temperature?

sorry I can't give exact details, but I know it was on a FG XR6 I was tuning, I ended up with 2 different strategies open and loaded the incorrect one, it locked the ecu and the flashbox, I had to send them to the SCT agent, was honest in how it happened and they recovered both for me. They said it was not uncommon

Although it not wise to use and incorrect strategy as it can lead to problems some of which are bricked ECU's, I am currently running a sprint tune in my MK2 FG, there was some initial trouble codes, but the tune has been used for testing purposes, not power though, for over 7000 klms and have no issues
