  1. i gave up. I got DFCO disabled and verified on the road. I set decel spark to 5 and I got nothing. I got it used a little more fuel but there was no crackles. I might need to take the car to someone who knows what to do then.

  3. Hi, That sound is exactly what I had been looking for. Can you share the details of your set up? Which table and scalar? Do you need still to disable DFCO or just changes in Decel Spark? I still want to know how Audi VW can have crackle pop during stationary or neutral/park. We can only dream of crackles when in Drive. I tried Decel spark only and have some pop like fire crackers, it is stupid to scare other drivers. I prefer crackles like in your video. Please help me?

  5. Hi, I am looking at the knock retard table/scalars that react to detonation decided by our factory knock sensors. Please point me to the right direction. I have attached the table of something I found. What is that? I want to see the knock retard table and learn how it works. We did re-calibrate factory knock sensitivity but I still want to know the table that gives spark retard when it pings. Regards
  6. I had dyno run last week (1st time using the dyno myself lol) and we could not run 4th gear from low RPM because it kept kicking back to 2nd gear or 3rd gear. Can you guys share any tip to run the car with ZF from manual shift 4th gear on dyno? We gained obvious power with some tweaks using PCMtec but the run could only see from 3000rpm on ward. That means we could not calibrate boost properly from 2000-2900rpm range! We did try 3rd gear run and same thing happened. We have to massage the throttle under 3000rpm, so the boost control under 3k can not be monitored on dyno. Please share the tip as I plan to go back to dyno next year for Flex tune. Greatly appreciate for your information.
  7. Where is this torque number Roland? Which table or scalar?
  8. How do you know where to increase the torque number? I got my car on dyno today and 1 run we got throttle cut at 4.5k rpm. I've only played with torque limit and have no other clue. My car "bark" really loud every gear shift, pretty much like a Golf R: very short and loud fart!
  9. Hi Roland, Would it require custom OS for our Ford to have that feature like those European cars? Crackle and pop whenever you let go of the throttle regardless of neutral or in gear. There is a lot of them in my arear...... those RS3 and AMG like flies every day. I do not think with their strategy it use more fuel because it is still under 10l/100km as far as I know from a mate's RS3. Would you down the track investigate how those car's strategy enable those crackle and pop whenever the REV drops? It is a bit like anti-lag for turbo and it is not just dumping all the extra fuel into the exhaust. They all are using factory tune and some tweak for that sound, flash tune like us!   10. What do you have? FG or BF? I do hybrid FGX and Sprint. Kept some of the FGX and modified some of the tables. Took ages to verify the impact of changes made to any scalar or table!
  11. Will desired boost table work with open loop boost control? How do we safe guard our boost curve in open-loop control config? Say I never want my boost to over-boost pass 19psi, how do I achieve it? it is open loop control not close-loop.
  12. How do you tune when you got your fuel tank mixed? Will the O2 sensor look after the tune? Eg. I have 4/10 of the tank filled with U98 then decided to top it up with E85 or vice versa. Will dual map give me clear advantage with tuning? And how? I am thinking about using custom OS hence this is my question ?
  13. I have no idea what to do with that table as mine had been tuned with SCT. It has more rows than what you showed from your BF table. Can you give me a little more details please? Just want a little "tiny" rattle from ghost cam ? Very tiny bit
  14. Roland, Your software is a masterpiece so far. Can I expect the data log will excel above SCT data log too? I'd like to see if there is spark reduction under WOT due to false ping. What feature will your data log has that will make "amature" tuner like me to learn faster about our car? Just like your compare function in PCMtec has been our life saver!

  16. The fuel injector setup. You have to close windows to see change every time you click decimal +/-
  17. Hi Roland, The add and remove decimal behave in a weird way - unless it is your intention - in version 0.72. You have to close and open the table again after applying the add or remove decimal to see any effect. The old version will take effect right after you click add/remove decimal. I found the this to be annoying or am I doing anything wrong here? I know it is easy fix ? for you
  18. I did try auF2485 with 2500rpm and auF0028 with 5 degree at 3000rpm. I reved the car with Park Gear and nothing happens. Does this only burb or pop when you drive? not at Neutral Gear selection? Any one with FG experience please help. I just want some burb or crackle when decel - not extreme as I do not want to see any damage ?

  22. Thank you! ? I had been chasing the pop like those Audi RS when decel. Not the extreme flame just some pop. I have the FGX G6ET. If you can not post the photo of PCMtec edit then please specify the code name like auF0228 for example, etc.... If you do not mind please tell me the details of what changes had been made to give the pop sound - in your opinion. I just want some pop and not to upset any other thing like fuel trim, afr, foul plug and such. ? Kind Regards

  24. Hi, I have been modifying that group of cells for idle spark. I've been trying so hard to obtain 18 degree for idle but what I got is 17-25 degree fluctuation. In the other reply you mentioned about idle PID loop, what is that? Where else should I look at to achieve specific idle spark timing - near constant and not fluctuation like what I am having since the SCT tune? The formula still works for idle? and PID idle loop? which is? Regards
  25. Oh dear :-) Yea I have some idea about all those adders and multipliers but my ghosh! I love your reply Roland, and the formula given so I could use Excel to do some rough calculation. Simulation would be great. Thank you.
