If I adjust over boost to say 0.6 then it’s like there is a hard limit of 60 %, what’s the difference between the ba and fg strategy?

But I’m running open loop I don’t ever want it to look at under boost and whack 100%dc

Why can’t I get this ba into open loop boost, I have done a couple of fgs that work really well and used the same method on this car but it’s either 100% dc or 0 I think the open loop over and under scalers are giving me this problem. Any help

Hi I tried to set my password for the editor last night and it said it didn’t recognise my email, I have sent though a email to support and have not had a reply yet. I have a car booked in for a tune tomorrow, any help please.

Yes it can, it is just a bit more tricky wiring wise. Have a read of this guide to see how you can make it work with the flex setup (circuit 3). Otherwise wait and you can do it via the cruise control switches. Do you have a flex fuel setup installed?
yeah got flex fuel working, might wait until we can can bus switch with the cruise control switches

The cruise control torque requestors, don't change any of them from stock.
Jsut make sure the "cruise speed control" torque requestors are all stock. There like 4 of them, just search for "torque request" and you'll find them in the navigator.
If you want exact parameters to check go through the torque requestor thread and check all of them against stock
Have you flashed a stock file back into the car to check? What are your throttle errors whilst logging?
So I can’t see that anything has been changed in any of the tables you have mentioned, it has only happened once about 2 weeks ago and I haven’t had the car back to log anything yet.

Yes do not mess with the cruise control torque requester settings as this can screw up the cruise control. Also messing with the torque tables and spark retard/torque ratios will possibly mess up cruise control as well.
Can you give me a list of table please so I can check, I don’t think any of those tables have been changed. I just want to check in case something has been accidentally changed.

Is there anything in a tune that can make the throttle stick on?, maybe something to with cruise control settings.

All right got the cold start worked out and starting awesome with the standard os and I am now doing the flex fuel one but there are some tables iv used that are not in the flex fuel blend tables auf0173 and auf0162, is there anymore tables getting added or suggestion of tables getting added later on. cheers.

Has anyone run a ba ecu and harness on a bf engine, I was thinking I may run into trouble with cam phase’s and tuning?

with auf11086 being set at 190rpm (stock) I would think it would come out of crank mode while cranking, I have not had a chance to look at cranking speed just yet but im sure it would have to be quicker then 190rpm. Any one tried playing with this?

Any one had a ignition miss fire cause these codes?, I’m starting to think that could be the cause.

Is there a way I can run solely off the waste gate dc table and not have any under boost or over boost, then set up desired boost table just for overboots situation protection. This is what I have done for the fg’s And it works great.
