So what should I be doing in my case with a non turbo ECU, no boost controller and no boost sensor? Do I turn it on and not worry about them or do I leave it off and just enter the tmap values in manually?
-
Yeah I got that, but is there anything else?

starting to tune my TT FG XR8, going through the parameters to change. I've been told to enable Turbo Logic but i want to understand why? what does it achieve?
-
I agree with this, ive ruled out everything else- fuel pressure, injectors, intake/ exhaust gasket leaks, exhaust cracks or pinholes, compression, leak down, spark, wiring etc. the only thing it could be is cam timing

How to read STFT as a percentage - as it says unitless

is this right or is it the other way around? in the injector scaling forum when your histogram showed below 1.00 values you said you needed to take out fuel as the slow slope was far too rich? -
None of those show up. I’m using professional, they only on workshop?

aren't the first 15 already set as high priority? if so here is my first log after adding the 1000cc injectors 1000cc log1.teclog

noticed throughout my logs that there was no difference between the pulsewidths on either bank, it seems to be just recording bank 2 and reporting that as both. which expains the weird plot. LTFT and fuel flow show up right though. Is this just an oversight in PCMTEC datalogging?

Happening with the stock and the new injectors.

Different AFR readings on left and right bank of FG XR8

new intake gaskets fitted, exhaust resealed, checked for other leaks, fuel pressure is solid, compression is perfect, new spark plugs and more. still the same. this is my logging for fuel injectors. wtf is happening? -
@Roland@pcmteci should be able to log for individual banks yes? not sure why but this is how it came out. It's fuel flow bank 1 doing it

Still trying to understand why some changes were made, could someone explain the effects of changing this table? (tuned for cams, and the usual upgrades) and why these were just changed to 1? other cut limits were all set to 0 to correct the LTFT's that are out below, would i use that first table above?

My catch can vents into the boot before the throttle body, so not the case for me -

Yeah mate, swapped them around and re calibrated, no change -

Honestly I never noticed it until I fitted the wide band. The car ran perfect. Even with cams it idles great, never stalls (manual) never hesitates and it’s power and torque is greater than others I’ve seen. Fuel economy is great. I fitted new o2 sensors the other day and it turned to crap, drivers side was running 17-19 afr at idle and it would stumble. Put the factory ones back in and it went back to how it was -
It’s no big deal, just need to touch the throttle when the car first starts so it makes no changes. Easy price to pay for only needing to change one table

Checked fuel rails when I changed out the injectors and reg, car is a daily so always fresh fuel flowing. As for leaks, I’ve checked multiple times and come up with nothing, intake gaskets look fine, exhaust has no leaks. Got me stumped -

The drivers side runs leaner than the passenger side. Closed loop mostly corrects it, but closed loop disabled or full load i can see a difference as big as .15-.2 Lambda. I have ruled out my wide band sensors (switched sides, recalibrated etc), new 02 sensors didnt help (actually made it worse at idle) and the effect is the same on different injectors. is there a way to correct this? -
funny thing with this is if you start the car and dont touch the throttle it will go into closed loop until you do

Ive just fitted 1000cc injectors, the only info ive received is a dead time of 1.59ms @ 12V and 3 Bar. running 4 bar, how should i be scaling this? what ive currently done is entered in 1.49ms @ 12V and moved the whole voltage curve the same difference. Is that the wrong approach? It's a cammed boss 290. Got it running alright, there is a slight hesitation while cranking after the first fire, but never struggles
-
just checking, was that a question or a statement?

fitting a bf 2bar map sensor to my fg xr8, what do i need to change to go about this? i cant find any info on the voltages so i dont know what to change the slope or offset to. Its the clone 2 bar map sensor off T.I Performance

looking again, both are showing the exact same thing effectively?
