Roland@pcmtec
Spoke to someone who suggested it is a hydraulic problem. Was it fine before the valve body etc was changed? If so, then almost certainly a mechanical issue you can't tune out. Also has it been tuned? They suggested that if so, return it to stock as most rebuild kits are for a stock tune. derek
it hasn't been tuned at all.. doesn't do it in manual mode or when its cold... when you have the scan tool on you can see in active data that it selects 2nd then jumps between 1st thats why i'm thinking its software..... and only light throttle it does it stick your boot in and its perfect..... its had the early oil pump fitted and running the 4l60e pressure reg
Roland@pcmtec
Did it do it before the valve body change?
derek
its a new build the next step was going to be change the valve body and go from there
Roland@pcmtec
Someone suggested they probably installed a GM s5 solenoid and wound up the pressure. I would take it back to whoever develops the kit and get them to solve it.

I had one in my built BTR and even with the shift settings set to the highest mA settings the trans would slam through all the shifts. Had the BTR S5 solenoid installed and the shifts are now fully controllable.
derek
yes i has removed the gm solenoid now also... and the shifts are great now
