  1. You are using the wrong units. Kpa vs inHg. Also what MID are you using for the Z axis?
  2. There is now a built in feature when flashing a vehicle where it will auto merge the serial at flash time(if the serial doesn't match) and prompt you to relicense. Saves a bit of time.
  3. Are you logging the correct load? Those units looks incorrect. Can you see if there is another load parameter you can log? What edition of the software (pro?) and which osid are you using? I will get it checked to see if there is an error on our end, the units should show 0-1.0 not 1,000.
  4. What Puff said. In an NA you'll be able to safely do draggy pulls in 2nd gear to test the power difference as well, just need to find somewhere safe and flat. On a turbo car even in stock turbo form you quickly need a dyno to do this safely and repeatably.
  5. You can log unlicensed cars as long as they aren't tuner locked.
  6. The IO is not reconfigurable, not without cutting the pcm open and someone doing some serious reverse engineering.
  7. Someone may be willing to post up a working file to save you the hassle. Perhaps even offer to purchase it off them. If anyone has a fully working automatic BTR HAAT3VC file with functional VCT/Ghost Cam and you publicly post it on the forums I will personally credit you 5 credits. Please put any spark/boost settings back to safe defaults if you do this.
  8. Do you have 200k? No one is going to look at it for less than that. Competent engineers are very expensive, then to make a business case to pull them off another job that's more profitable...
  9. It would be easier to write custom pcm code. We want to do c code for the power pc to allow copperhead support (11-14 mustang and f150). Realistically this is a half a million dollar endeavour in development though, we aren't going to recoup that on a BF only zf mod. Though if we do copperhead support this may justify back porting it to the falcon to add things like this. Probably your best option is transplanting a ZF tcm/pcm and associated modules. Writing asm code is incredibly difficult which is why we haven't done any further mods for the Falcon custom os. We (not our tuners) would love spark cut for the Falcon for gimmicks, though all the workshops say no due to the damage it causes valve trains, turbos and exhausts.
  10. I've done all sorts of weird things just to see what effects live changes have. Like fun 0.6 lambda on decel and watch the estimated cat temp drop from 1400f to 700f in a few seconds (in a mustang) You can use the bimodal exhaust on he miamis as well to control various things as well. Try setting your dwell time to 0us above 3k, it's basically an ignition cut.
  11. You don't have to use them for fuel either. You can set the stoich column to be fixed then simply have 10 tune slots, or use the flex input for infinitely variable boost, water meth, nitrous or any other weird and wacky combinations you can think of.
  12. There are 10 tune slots (5 per fuel base). 4 of which are tunes you select, 1 is a momentary tune activated when launch control is activated. You could simply set the ghost cam to tune2, then the launch control tune slot to do your pop n crackle etc.
  13. I did an engineering degree and didn't even know that. Either that or I've forgotten more than I realise.
  14. Do the reverse/brake lights work? Do you have LED lamps? I believe the PCM checks the resistance for a fault and LED lights or a faulty lamp can cause that. I'm sure someone else can chime in with exactly how it works. I'm not on the PC but regarding the axle ratio you need to set it in the ZF cal itself and if the VID block is enabled (it normally is) set it there. If the VID block is disabled set the PCM override as Bill mentioned.
  15. It probably will work but I would want to see someone test it first. Surely the credits are more than your labour to fix it though? You might have a bad earth or other sensors having issues which imo warrants further investigation. If it's for a customer I wouldn't be happy if I was them and someone did that. A few tanks of fuel would cost more than the fix!
  16. These kind of back end tasks take up a lot of our time. So if it seems like we are sitting around with our feet up, trust us, everyone is working overtime on the following: Support Resolving the out of memory issues due to 32bit J2534 driver by adding support for a new cable (OBDX FT) Overseas support (f150, Mustang, Bronco, Explorer, Maverick etc). Special shout out to the workshops who have supported us from day one. Without you we wouldn't exist and problems like this would not get fixed. We really are indebted to you (you know who you are) hence the huge 64bit update to improve your work flow. Please don't hold back, negative or positive feedback is always welcome.
  17. What do you mean by this? It's not saving the last two columns? Or it's rounding the values down?
  18. The context its used in implies clutch something something
  19. Delete the resources.dat file under appsettings. Support will give you full instructions on Monday.
  20. Long shot but you might be able to make it run in batch fire mode and hack up the speed density table multipliers to get the load values reasonable. If I was retired and single I would try random stuff like this for fun. Actually a very good idea. They also have PWM from the VCT you might be able to repurpose. Probably not the cheapest way to do this if you value your time though but I suspect you could definitely make it work, might need to play with firing order and crank trigger settings thought. edit: Last mad idea is you can control power with the following quite dramatically using the following: Spark timing, lambda and throttle. Make a multi tune, see how low you can get the power with a funky looking throttle curve, then start adding fuel and pulling timing to get the desired power levels. I've seen Palm Beach Dyno drop a 900hp twin turbo 5.0 running an external boost controller down to about 550hp doing this, granted they also had VCT to play with but its an option.
  21. Not possible unfortunately. The drivers do not exist on the board.
  22. Please do not buy fake non genuine Tactrix cables. They waste your time, they waste your money, they are regularly dead on arrival, FEPS pins fail. Slow transfer rates, noisy can signal and will drop packets. The list goes on. Do the world a service and throw yours in the bin if you have one. Then buy one from a reputable seller such as Australia: https://www.tiperformance.com.au/brand/tactrix/ USA: https://www.tactrix.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=17&category_id=6&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=53&redirected=1&Itemid=53 Or buy a equivalent quality product such as an OBDX GT (Mustang/F150 only) https://obdxpro.com/product/obdx-pro-gt-obd2-diagnostics-and-tuning/ Or OBDX FT (required for Australian Falcons or any other vehicle with FEPS pin requirement). https://obdxpro.com/product/obdx-pro-fx-ford-obd2-j2534-diagnostics-and-tuning/

Custom Machine Works will do a mail order tune for you. It is their secret sauce though, I don't think they will be willing to share as it took them a long time to figure it out. Another method is to buy a CANBarra module.
  24. Find your pcm strategy in the strategy browser, then load the tcm file that matches it in. If the tcm is from an FG and the pcm is from a BF or vice versa you will need to contact Whiteford, Custom Machine Works or BPR to get the TCM os reprogrammed.
