Done. I've pasted the original comment with instructions below the tables on the spreadsheet Shift Tables.xlsx
hjtrbo
Thanks @Bill. Converter lock up settings also has an effect. Stupid OSS bias. As a side project there is benefit in looking at the situation table and modifying that to limit the amount of shift patterns that are in play. JMSMotorsport
Am I right in thinking if it's hitting engine limiting before the change happens, I just need to bring the shift on earlier even thou its already commanding the shift at 5040rpm it hits the limter at 6060rpm. ? Mainly the 1-2 if i use it in Manual it shifts fine under WOT. I did find the terry with more Power needed some lower number in shift. What worked better was changing limiter type. I found stock limiter would confise it and make it hold gear more. Since std is a throttle cut. I changed to fuel cut only and left it at 6100 or so and it seemed fine

I will also try using that process as that makes sense, I guess they make the RPM so much quicker needs extra time to get that shift done. BeerTurbo
I had to lower btr shift points with a na+exhaust+3.7 gears it would just tag limiter in the shifts. Needed to be lowerd by 100 rpm or so. But the btr take like 700 rpm to actually do a shift....at least the zf is much quicker hahahaha

hjtrbo
Lol, almost. I haven't yet got around to diving into the disassembly so I don't know the answer. There are clues in the logger, type of driver counter for example. Then acceleration rate, incline detection. All of that mixes together to form the lookup values to select the shiftmap. The algo will be complex. You would need to find buried dmr's in the logger that together will start to form a picture. Or you could go GM style and set that whole table to 5 (whoah, what could go wrong ) and just have the 1 shift map to tune.
