Hi, I have a question about how to load a layout after saving it. How do you do it? lol I have used File/load layout and select a layout file but the loaded file is not what I saved It seems to save correctly or it goes through the process at least but I can't retrieve the file back again I have included a saved layout that just has some changes to Speed Density, I can't tell if it has been saved properly or not but what is loaded is just blank as in no changes show up Thanks Steve 02-02-2020 12-10-29 PM.tlo

Hi, I have a question regarding the calculation to increase the calculated air mass in order to get extra fuel, this calculation is based on the commanded lambda being less than the actual lambda. So if in the case where the commanded is more than the actual lambda, it may be obvious but i'm just checking if I simply do the inverse when calculating? In other words where the equation says to multiply I would divide? Cheers Steve

Hi, will pcmtec sofyware allow to tune the Haltec Elite ecu that is for the Ford? As you may know, they put out a direct swap ecu, but as well as that they have software that goes with it apparently, but I'd like to use pcmtec cause it's something I paid for and am learning how to use. Cheers

I have all but the first TPS value zeroed, and it goes into open loop just above idle or just pushing on the throttle pedal.
-
So, do you read it in reverse in a sense?
-
I'm a bit confused with this info, if the pcm takes the value of 590 as WOT, why does your transition table show the value of 100 at 6000 rpm, asuming that you would be at WOT at 6000 rpm? Cheers

Sorry, it's ok I have found them now Thanks

I'm running the latest beta. I have selected probably 5 out of only about 10 to 15. I expected to see more available pids. I have only had a brief look at it so far though
-
That's handy to know, thankyou so much
-
Ok thanks for that Steve
-
Probably an obvious answer but if open loop is on all the time, even at idle does this mean that the pcm is going to the fuel table all the time? Also, does the pcm still receive input from say the ect or iat? Cheers Steve

Hi, I've only seen a small amount of channels that are being logged at the moment, do I need to change a setting or is it because it's only a beta? Cheers
-
Thankyou Roland, can't wait to have a look at it Steve
-
Hi, i've seen some people getting a copy of the beta, is it available to anyone? Cheers
-
Hey, is this beta open to anyone? Thx
-
Hi, well typically I can't find the post/s at the moment but if I come across something I'll get back to you. But apart from that is it fair to say that the word "boost" wouldn't be used if talking about an n/a? Cheers Roland

Hi, I have come back to this for another read and have noticed that this gear wizard is able to pull the relevant data from the tune, is this done automatically? Cheers -
Hi, i might be off topic here but i have a newbie question about boost. I have been reading what i can about na engines, but the word boost seems to come up a lot, is it still relating to na? If so, what or where is this boost they are referring to? Thanks in advance Steve

Thanks for the reply, it's an interesting topic. Steve

Just having a brief read of this topic, do i understand correctly, it's saying that the turning on or off of the "switch" in octane allows the use of 98 or 95 with no further changes? Cheers

Ahhh ok, that explains that. Yeah i have been trying to come to grips with the speed density tuning Thx
