  1. It might pay to revert back to stock & start again after reading some useful info provided by @BeerTurbo
  2. BA NA BTR used the ABU-242 from sometime in 2003 onwards. It replaced the ABU-212 which was only used for about 12 months. In turbo, ABU-244 replaced the ABU-214 from about the same time. Using any ABU-242 in place of another ABU-242 or ABU-212, shouldn't be an issue as long as you have the strategy with correct speed source. I've done it a several times.
  3. Just dropping all these here in case someone wants/needs them INJ-501-Ford-Plug-n-Play-Injector-Calibration.xlsx INJ-502-Ford-Plug-n-Play-Injector-Calibration.xlsx INJ-503-Ford-Plug-n-Play-Injector-Calibration.xlsx INJ-504-Ford-Plug-n-Play-Injector-Calibration.xlsx INJ-505-Ford-Plug-n-Play-Injector-Calibration.xlsx INJ-506-11MM-Ford-Plug-n-Play-Injector-Calibration.xlsx LR-RW-DATA-INJ-CHARTS.pdf INJ-500-Ford-Plug-n-Play-Injector-Calibration.xlsx
  4. I helped with a startup tune with new RW injectors some time ago using the owners laptop & login. It run ok but has since been dyno tuned. I'll see if he's able to send me a copy of the startup & final tunes to compare the data & which actual injectors it was that we setup.

  6. Yes, what ones are you after. I'll see if I have it.

  8. Hi Chops, great to hear the return to stock went well. I've not heard of anyone having the issue where after one of the flashes, parameters have altered by themselves. I didn't think it was possible. Were you saving the file between changes to be able to go back & see where/what happened? @Roland@pcmtecwould logs identify an issue if Chops were to send them to support?
  9. Why do you want to add pressure in reverse? If the box is ok, it shouldn't be necessary.
  10. 1. Open the file for the turbo pcm. 2. Select compare history 3. Load compare file (your na tuned file) 4. Start comparing & copying
  11. Have you checked fuel pressure, fault codes or done any datalogging to see what's causing it? Check & provide the details. You can access user manuals from the PCMTEC program Here's some forum info on datalogging if you haven't read it
  12. I'd imagine there's going to be a lot more people who can clone TCM's as soon as they find the old jaguar website & YouTube video showing how it's done.
  13. Thanks abs, I wasn't aware it was public knowledge when I commented & lots of thanks to Jakka, he has since provided a link to some very useful info for all us that didn't 👍
  14. Not a problem Roland. I really needed a break from the normal day to day stuff.
  15. APS-232 is a NA 5R55 (5 speed auto) PCM. There's some info here on using it it a turbo application
  16. No worries. It's easy when you have the workshop version to find what you need & then it's as simple as following the steps in "Overwriting Tuner Lock" after that. Good luck with it
  17. Firstly, wait until you have the PCM hardware type ie the vehicle in your workshop or have the customer send you a photo of the sticker on the side of the PCM so you know what the hardware is in preparation. If you don't have the workshop version & access to the strategy list, once you know what the hardware is, ask if someone can help with a strategy for PCM hardware APS-***, ASU-*** or for whatever hardware it is. Also provide other info for the strategy/TearTag needed....ie you want a turbo manual strategy, na manual strategy, turbo ZF6 strategy, na ZF6 strategy. That's for you to decide. Once you have found or someone has provided you with a strategy/TearTag from the Falcon calibration list, the simplest process is to step back to the start of this thread & follow "Overwriting Tuner Lock"
  18. No worries. I guess you'll need to wait for the Patrol to turn up so you know if it is in fact tuner locked, has a custom OS or what you're dealing with. With any luck, it'll have the APS-234 FG turbo PCM.
  19. I assume you're talking about a conversion in a car that's not a BA/BF/FG/FGX. If that's the case, then matching the TearTag isn't as critical. If you have the workshop version, you can filter the calibration list by PCM type eg ASU-224, APS-234, then filter to trans auto or manual & pick a strategy. NOTE: If it's a ZF6 vehicle, make sure you pick one with a TCM calibration listed. You could normally use the PCM part number on the sticker on the side of the PCM as a reference to what the stock file would be but it may not be correct. It may have been overwritten for your conversion ie if it was originally a FG Turbo auto PCM, it may have had a manual strategy flashed to suit the conversion. If you don't have the workshop version, provide some info on your conversion, your PCM type, gearbox, na or turbo for assistance with a TearTag/strategy.
  20. Yeah, I realised the main conversation was about the 3v engine, not the 4V engine. I mentioned the Boss 5.4 because they use the same PCM hardware. All BA & SX that have ABS use a Bosch 5.3 system, so there's some similarity. If it's ABS only & not ABS/TCS over CAN it's usually not a major problem but ABS/TCS over CAN can be a problem. Still may have issues with a mismatch though. I agree, using the 5.4 ABS module on the Territory would solve the mismatch issue if there was one but may not work well on a 2t vehicle. Anyone want to donate a RWD Territory, 5.4 engine, gearbox, wiring loom & PCM etc? I need another conversion challenge 🤣 have you got some spare time Jakka? I might need a hand
  21. You're right, it's not a PCMTEC thing. It would require a very good understanding of CANbus communication, programming/coding & some specific tools/programs and a lot of time at a minimum. @Whiteforddoes it in Melbourne but being something he will have invested a lot of time in doing, I'd be surprised if he would share too much info. Understandably, he'd need to get a return on his investment.
  22. You'd definitely have to use the 5.4 ECU & strategy, check for wiring differences & make changes where necessary. The main thing that might cause an issue is ABS. If you started with a base model RWD SX Territory, it uses the Bosch 5.3 ABS module as does the BA Falcon. As long as a different ABS config didn't cause a major conflict with the 5.4 ECU/VID/Strategy, a bit of manipulation might just keep it all happy. It might not either. Whilst it's not recommended, if it was driving ok, turning off ABS on the cluster to remove a light would be an option.....track car only From memory MAXX Performance had some involvement with a Boss 5.4 into a Territory a few years ago. I wonder if the ABS was retained & whether it was a street or track car. If I was going to try it, the first thing I'd do is look at body wiring differences to make sure all the body wiring is right, plug a 5.4 ECU in & see if there's any major conflict between the ECU & ABS. If there is a conflict, can it easily be rectified to retain the Territory module or is it going to be a major problem.
