  1. Same month & year should be the same. Make sure the PCM number is the same & you should ideally have the same strategy. The switchable elm327 might work to see the other modules & do programming but I've seen a few people brick modules with them not getting the switching right. I usually advise to throw the manual switch elm327 in the bin & get an auto switching OBDLink EX cable. Delivery from Amazon AU is usually only a couple of days.
  2. No worries Rob. Good to see you got it sorted. I haven't checked but might need to find some time to check
  3. FG1 or FG2? Have you reprogrammed the PCM with the correct strategy? What cable are you using with FORScan? Some cables eg Tatrix will only connect to modules on HS CAN. They won't connect to modules on MS CAN. Other cheap cables, clones or cables with manual switches can be problematic.
  4. Hi Rob, hopefully you don't have faulty devices. @Puffwagonhas mentioned previously in this thread that he had to reinstall drivers when his wouldn't connect. Have you checked the DLP is being found by the laptop when plugged in? Check in Device Manager > Ports Here's a link to drivers & a test application on the DLP website if needed https://www.dlpdesign.com/usb/io8.shtml
  5. That's very likely your problem. If you go back & read some of my previous replies, I've pinned a link to another thread where @Roland@pcmtechas pointed out an issue with cheap clones & what to check. If this doesn't confirm it's the Tatrix cable, you could try it on another car at your own risk to confirm if it reads or not but I'd be suspecting your cable is faulty. I missed the clone comment
  6. Are you saying that when you connect PCMTEC, it's throwing the P2105 code? You still haven't answered the question about what interface you're using with PCMTEC.....it maybe that you have a fault with your interface. If you genuinely want help, you need to answer this question.
  7. Providing an answer to what interface you're using may help answer the PCMTEC connection issue
  8. Most codes aren't present at the time of the request so should clear. In FORScan, delete the vehicle profile, clear codes, close FORScan & reconnect to the vehicle to see what codes are "Present at time of request". There doesn't appear to be other codes related to the P2105 so you could have a faulty PCM if further diagnosis doesn't rule it out.
  9. Ignore P1000 as it should clear after a full drive cycle. P2105 needs to be read in conjunction with other codes? Were there any other codes & was P2105 still present after clearing codes? If it is then further diagnosis is required.
  10. Check the battery voltage. Ideally at rest it'll be about 12.5v. If it's 12v or lower, PATS could be stopping access. What interface are you using to connect to the vehicle? Genuine Tatrix OpenPort 2.0, a clone or something else? See more info on problems with cheap clones
  11. I’ve recently found a couple where the pump numbers have matched but the programming has been different & doesn’t have the turbo As-Built or turbo variants. They also won’t accept the turbo As-Built. If you can check the donor vehicle TearTag of the vehicle, you’ll need to match one of the numbers below to know you can then change variant if it doesn’t match eg XR6T or XR8 ute TearTag will show 09 02 04…..highlighted line in image.
  12. Did the slipping start after changing to BMV or was it doing it prior? I've seen a few that have started slipping after changing to BMV. The Gulf Western Syn TS LV is a good option. The seals leaking/bleeding off pressure is common & if you're going to change the fluid, do the seals at the same time.
  13. I've just turned off Pro & Workshop level & can still see ZF00027 so it's available at enthusiast level
  14. @hiboost @Roland@pcmtec.....working again 👍
  15. Hi Neil, I'm getting the same message. @Roland@pcmtec
  16. Hey @Roland@pcmtec I usually use FireFox as a web browser & as you have suggested, it is possible that it is related to leaving the forum open....I'm guilty. The other theory I had was it may be due to internet drop outs which is why I haven't worried about it too much something I've been fighting Telstra/Bigpond over for years. About 2 weeks ago, I installed Starlink Internet & gave Telstra /Bigpond the boot. It's amazing what a difference it makes having over 200Mbps download & 30-50Mbps upload. So far, I have only recorded connection issues when firmware updates are happening. They are usually about 3am so it doesn't count 🤣 I don't recall having the issue in the last 2 weeks so I'll monitor & send you some info if occurs again.
  17. @PuffwagonI know how frustrating it can be 🤣, I've had this happen a couple of times now. I usually know it's happened when I go to paste an image & it gives an error so I copy what I have written & then log back in & paste. The other thing that is a tell tale sign is if you have all the posts from the page showing in the post you are typing up.
  18. This has been answered a few times in previous comments

    fg cluster

You're probably better off going to the Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/australianforscanusersgroup Add some decent details eg your car is a MK1 FG XT, MK1 FG XR6T, MK2 F6, MK2 GT? how may km on your cluster? the replacement cluster is from? how many km on the replacement cluster? what is wrong with your cluster?....someone might know how to fix it or make it better. what are you trying to achieve by replacing the cluster? Some cluster/vehicle combinations are easier swaps than others. Some require expertise above what most people have. There are a few people here who are also in the Facebook group who have very good knowledge on FG programming @Whiteford@jakka351 . Have a look at the "Featured", do a search or read through posts on the group page & if you can't find your answer, then ask.
  20. If someone else licenced the vehicle, you can't do anything without licencing it. You can return it to stock for 1 credit. It will cost 3 credits if you want to return to stock & tune it.
  21. That looks like it's a match & not what I found
  22. Check both the OSID & strategy match too. I came across a BA a while ago that had mismatched OSID to strategy & it was seen as a custom OS, resulting in some tools not recognising the pcm & it not being able to be read by anything but PCMTEC. It may not be your problem but something to be aware of. I'm guessing that someone has selected "write calibration" instead of write entire using another tool eg HP resulting in the mismatch. OSID is HAAMG, strategy is HAANCG4. PCMTEC shows it as PCMFMG4 I've attached a copy so you can see what had happened with OSID & Strategy. PCMFMG4 Custom OS_OSID HAAMG_Strategy HAANCH4.tec
  23. I was coming back to do an update on this but you beat me to it. It was driving perfectly & after about a week it has started to display the same symptoms. Prior to that, it would randomly fault every day. Sometimes after being driven for 10-20 minutes & other times at first startup. It has a faulty pcm. Ive seen 3 FG's with similar problems, two ended up being a faulty PCM, both logged a P1260 code & the third a faulty IC. With the IC, no P1260 code was ever logged.
